The Tree of Life Making Dollars Grow on Trees
Amongst the valleys of oblivion and the trails of toil lay the source of all wealth. From its leaves money grow but the man who picks the leaves is not what he claims to be.

THE SPEECH
“I have given the land its wealth. I have stimulated the economy. I keep rates which our merchants borrow low. I have created family stimulus and solved the issues which press us. Under war, under pestilence and under the guise of leader I came to lead. So let me lead!”
A crowd roars with enthusiasm. The sounds bellow through an amphitheater. The man stands tall on his podium. Encircling him are the flags of his country.
Around him are the subjects which he leads.
From above and below all admire.
He speaks with conviction.
“You all were here when we saw our economy in ruin. You all were here when mothers did not have milk for their children. The third payment will be the strongest of this year! I will continue to support your children…”
The man’s eyes glare across the audience. Each eye seems to be specially met with every single spectator. Each person feels he looks at them when he speaks.
His words captivate.
“I know your struggle! I lived your struggle. I am here to defend you. I am here to protect our great nation. Now the economy is stronger. Mothers don’t fret over feeding their children. More importantly families don’t worry where they sleep. Have I not done what I promise!?”
The crowd bellows approvals. The sounds rumble the earth and quake the city. The entire world knows this man is here. His presence is felt as a heavy air. The presence of him weighs down on everyone.
The man waives to everyone. People adore him and waive back. He is the truth they sought, and he is the future they pursue.
THE JOURNEY TO THE TREE
Our orator walks off. He exits the stage and proceeds into a long hallway. The hall seems as though it leads to infinity. The hall is dark with overhang lights beaming down rays of light. The light beams appear as pillars holding up the roof. Down the hall are large cast iron doors. The iron seems to guard a secret.
What is behind those doors?
Our orator’s security follows.
Each person skips steps to keep up.
“Sir.” A man in all black, glasses and a tie speaks.
The orator turns to his head of security.
“Jasper what is it?” Our orator barks.
“Mr. President the former leader was acquitted.”
The president scoffs. His face shows the disdain his words brings. A man who enrages a sloth is a special type of person. Especially THAT MAN.
“Of course, he was. We can’t have the precedent set presidents go to jail. It’s bad for future presidents. It’s bad for me.”
Jasper glances around as his sentries trail to the side of him.
“Mr. President. Are we are going down this path to arrive at the tree?”
The president looks at Jasper.
“What do you think?”
Jasper speaks into his wrist. They are approaching the end of infinity now. The tension of a journey’s end is starting to strain. The veins on Jasper’s head are starting to pulse.
He looks stressed.
He wonders if people will find out one day what he abetted.
He hopes not.
The view of the cast iron doors begin to come into close view. Side doors collapse from the walls on each side. From each side men come out. The men are strong. Each looks like Mr. Olympian.
What task could such strong men have at this door?
Apparently their build is excatly what is required. Sometimes the obvious answer is the truth. Each one begins to heave as they lift the great iron beam preventing the doors from opening. The iron is heavy. It is also filled with lead.
It is designed for at least fifteen men of lifting strength. Each one grunts as they move it from its cradle. The men struggle as they slowly move the lead filled barrier to the side.
The beam crashes on the ground.
BOOOMMM.
“Well that was loud.” The president utters
“Open the door!” Jasper booms out.
Men move to the heavy cast iron doors and being to push. Then…
THE TREE
The tree comes into view. The tree is beautifully encircled by rows of bushes. Each bush is fed by the lifeforce given by the tree. The tree sways as if wind is present. Odd, they are inside. How can a tree have wind inside a chamber? The top of the room has an oval enclosure which lets light beam down on to the tree.
A special technology allows light to pass through the hallow oval enclosure of the dome but prevents people from seeing into the room.
No one can know what is here.
Narrow slits propel outside air to circulate the room and water mists gently in the air.
The entire room is climate controlled.
The tree is a treasure.
The president begins to walk forward.
“No Jasper. No one can enter but me.”
Jasper nods. He waives for everyone to halt.
The president begins to walk into the room.
He moves step by step. Each breath is less laborious than the last one. He marvels at the creation which stands before him.
On the first row of bushes, he stops.
He looks.
His hand moves to the leaf of the bush.
“In God we Trust.” The President then plucks a leaf.
Immediately another one grows back.
Like magic.
“If only people knew. The big journey, the big struggle and the giant speech is just me picking a leaf from this bush.”
INFLATION & TAXES
There is a price to pay for endless stimulus. We have all heard the saying, “Money does not grow on trees”. In our current situation, this exact philosophy is what politicians are ascribing to.
Intrinsic value has left our currency.
Commodity prices are going to skyrocket.
Governments are going to hike taxes to offset their devaluation.
The unfortunate truth is there are no options. We are out of time. The only thing to do is ride the perception what you are holding is still worth something. Don’t be fooled by the speeches. It may sound good but the truth isn’t so good.
Prepare for tax planning and take advantage of favorable 2021 tax rates. 2022 will not be so nice.
To your knowledge success!
