I’ve predicted replacement of jobs by machines. In an article on April 12th 2019 “Automation the Death of Employees Rise of Entrepreneurs” I predicted this. The United States Postal Service on Tuesday started a two week test transportation mail system of three states (Source Reuters 5/21/2019).

The goal of self driving technology is to replace 174,500 truck drivers by 2024.

The total cash invested to get this technology going? A staggering One Hundred Seventy Eight Million ($178,000,000) was raised to replace these jobs. Ladies and gentlemen we need to see the writing on the wall. The jobs that exist today will be phased out soon. The gap between working class and technological class is going into over drive. The fourth industrial revolution is underway. There is a choice for you. You can prepare for change or ignore change. You can call politicians in hope the system saves you or you can adapt.

Political processes slow down change. Political processes do not halt change.

Many called for opposition to preserve segregation. The result was a slower progress and bigotry still became illegal. Many called for preservation of church monuments in state buildings. The result was church and state preservation (the monuments were removed).

Prudent individuals are keen to identify market trends. Market trends exist in social platforms, financial platforms, industry platforms and religious platforms. All components of human dynamic contain cycles. Cycles move and are fluid. Introducing innovations takes time. The time still comes when innovation overtakes traditional processes.

Humans are habitual creatures. We enjoy routine, traditions and cultural identity. What happens when cultural identity is individualism? What happens when each person is taught to be themselves? What happens is people seek their own path. Our culture is to create self identity. Each generation has unique environments it is born into. These environments influence our desires. Our desires drive individual goals.

The goals a person sets as a child will be different if entirely different tools exist to guide the person in an individualistic society.

Combine dynamic change with rapid technological advances and old lifestyles become obsolete.

Today’s generation will develop, grow and value common human desires. These human desires are “Efficiency” and “Labor Avoidance”. All generations sought to be more efficient. All generations sought to avoid excessive labor. These characteristics expressed themselves throughout time. The application of these characteristics is what changes.

Today’s change of expression is robots, technology and automation. As aging dinosaurs it is our job to become wise. Wisdom comes from recognizing these facts. Wisdom comes from recognizing societal dynamic. Wisdom comes from recognizing the consequences of how you raise your children. Consequences need not be bad. Consequences simply are results of your action. Nothing more. Our desires to be more efficient and eliminate labor pushed elimination of our jobs.

Now it’s our time to recognize the consequences of our actions and opportunities that exist. Look for more articles about how technology disrupts the market place to create unique money making opportunities by following me here or going to sign up for my free quarterly newsletter.

To your success!
