It’s interesting I just had this conversation with my partners wife. She’s a CEO of a top public company and my partner and I are 4 months into our new venture. I have a saying. You make no money for 90 days when you first start a venture. You make something that might average Walmart pay by month 6. Then around month 9 something happens. If you’re doing it right you will end up in 6 figures of revenue if you were 1) patient, 2) persistent and 3) consistent. Sometimes people just want to see you will be around for a year before they buy. Nothing worse than buying something and coming back 6 months later to see the company went out of business. Remember that.
