FORTUNE IS A REBEL

The mind defaults to require compliance with its expectations. Under the guise of self-worth, self-respect or boundaries the mind will make its own conclusions. Its pervasive self-talk will replay conversations, narrate outside events and tell you what another’s intentions are.

This is a symptom of the reactive eye I spoke of before.

Without consultation of others where the mind seeks understanding to properly interpret an action one can find oneself out to sea when they meant to traverse land. Worse, one can conclude a completely fictitious conclusion and live in that false reality.

Typically, ego will falsely tell the person they were right. I find ego is a bad comforter. In truth, no one can control our external factors. What wisdom teaches is we plan, plan some more and then execute our plan only to discover fortune does whatever she wants anyways.

UNCONTROLLABLE EXPECTATIONS

Begin by asking what is within your control. This is not pointless exercise. When a problem surfaces you must begin by asking what, “What can I do?”…
