I think that Top Gun sequel is less about emphasis on white men dominating Hollywood and more about Hollywood’s attempt to get the fans of original Top Gun to see the movie. I think it’s an appeal to an older generation versus promotion of all white movies. Top Gun is so old that if your younger than 25 you probably have never heard of it. It’s a gamble and I think they tried to play it safe. Movies are about making money at the end of the day. Just my two cents.
