Many people hold out for their opportunity. The resilient…these people stand there and grind. Financial losses mount, hardships endure, and loss of support runs rampant. These people stand their ground. The issue is…these people just stand.
Have you ever driven 1,400 miles to have a single meeting?
Have you forced yourself through 3 layovers, slept on the air port floor, and taken 14 hours to get somewhere because it was the cheapest route? You ever do this despite the direct flight being just three and one half hours away?
Most people come up with excuses. People tell themselves they would go but the money isn’t there. For most the only option is travelling in luxury and comfort. That’s not grinding people. Doing what others will not is not a mind state. The endurance to sustain extreme discomfort results in your success. There can be no short cut. There can be no process that will not test you 1) physically, 2) mentally and 3) emotionally. Being pushed to the brink of collapse often is the only sign you are about to make it.
These are very harsh words.
These words are truth. On the eve of my first five hundred thousand dollar closing (the amount of money I received personally to a corporate bank account) I had to drive nearly 1,500 miles. I drove because I could not afford a plane ticket. Imagine that. I had barely enough money to get there and back. My family was concerned we would not sustain the business without a large closing. I informed my family that I would come back with something.
The want became a must.
I can. I will. I must.
This is a chant I tell myself when everything is on the line. This situation is familiar to competitors. This situation is the product of every great athlete to ever grace any field of play. My mentality stays there. With it all on the line I had that deposit come in. Want to see? No problem.
Do you have just $5.00 in your account right now? Do you refuse to believe with nothing more than skill, wit, and professional certifications you can turn your situation around in less than 30 days?
This is the available balance in this account on August 1st 2016.
This is my available balance in this account 30 days later.
I can. I will. I must.
Remember this mentality. Push through hardship. The only thing separating you from others (once you are professionally certified and competent) is one day. Nothing happens overnight but everything happens all at once.
Struggle. That’s what it means to close a deal when others fall off. Opportunity surfaces when you discover patience and adherence to three principles.
A 500,000 monthly Opportunity is found in 1) Middle Space Industries, 2) Emerging Technologies & 3) Personal Reasons.
I’ve written extensively about these concepts here.
This article lends credence to my philosophies. I preach these philosophies on www.christopherklopez.com and in my writing. Remember perseverance is required to have opportunity. You have to stay around long enough to be relevant.
